When it comes to drinking soda, the United States of America is that country which is famous for the massive consumption of these things. However, there’s a piece of bad news for all soda lovers because, in a recent health study, it was found that drinking soda is linked with cancer. New research found drinking a small glass of sugary cold drink per day say 100 ml which is about ⅓ of a typical soda can might increase 18% overall cancer risk and a 22% risk in breast cancer. Health studies on drinking sodas have already published multiple times, but this case study covers a vast database. Researchers here studied and observed more than 100000 French adults and their consumption of sugary drinks.

They linked the consumption of sugary beverages with cancer and stumbled upon this significant finding. One of the lead researchers of this health study said that this data gives a statistical correlation between the consumption of sodas and cancer risk associated with it. One of the surprising things which researchers found in this health study is that use of fruit juice is also linked with increased risk of cancer.

Health problems have increased significantly from the last many years, and consumption of sugary drinks has always been a significant problem for the majority of people. Researchers think this health study gives data on how much reduction in the use of cold brew is beneficiary for our health. One of the leading causes of problems in a beverage is the amount of sugar contained in it. Many health problems like obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes are caused because of the consumption of sugary drinks. High use of sweet beverage increases chances of getting obese and thus cancer. So it’s beneficial for all people to cut down the overconsumption of sugary drinks.
