The online giant company Amazon’s billionaire founder Jeff Bezos recently said that before the government plans to restart the crumbling economy, more testing for coronavirus needs to be done. In his annual letters to shareholders, Jeff Bezos mentioned this fact of testing more of coronavirus. He thinks people need to be tested more to make sure everyone is safe and those who are infected need the treatment immediately. Amazon is starting its testing for COVID_19, in which they will try to test all of the company’s employees. Jeff said regular testing of all people across various industries is a must consider the current situation.

He said that to restart the economy quickly, more testing is the only solution, and all people will have to come forward to make it happen. Jeff thinks if every person gets regularly tested, then it would help the country to fight against this deadly virus more efficiently. Recently Trump said he is planning to restart the economy, but other states are not in the same mood. Trump’s thinking of reopening the economy has received many health officials’ contrary advice because they think right now, lockdown is the only solution for this pandemic. Since more than 22 million are officially declared unemployed, it’s affecting the world’s largest economy.

Amazon will try to test all of its employees even though this plan had some skepticism from Jeff himself, but considering the situation, they are trying to give it a shot. Amazon in March hired more than 100000 workers and planned to employ 75000 more people to meet the needs of every American. Since such a mass hiring might be severely impacting the company’s all other staff members’ health, the tech giant company is trying to make things easier by implementing testing of COVID-19 by itself.
